A visit to one (or more!) of the local markets is a must! Fresh, local produce and all the hussle & bussle of market days gone by...
There has been a bit of bad press lately of unscrupulous market traders preying on foreign tourists just because they can get away with it..... We haven't heard of anything like that here (apart from one friend many years ago who was persuaded to part with a hefty sum for a small piece of cheese and to this day we still call him The Big Cheese ;) ) but be aware...and if you think it's too much, say so....could be fun!
